This CP Piston M piston kit is compatible with Yamaha YFZ450R / YFZ450. CP Pistons take advantage of X-forgings to minimize friction and weight without compromising strength.
The piston kits double pin oilers add twice the amount of oil from the cylinder wall to the wrist pin. Quench is maximized by radiused domes, while at the same time eliminating possible hot spots that promote detonation.
These kits have a V-shaped groove, also known as the accumulator groove, machined into the second ring to collect excess blowby between the top and second rings.
