This screen accurate 1:1 scale replica is cast in wet stone casting resin which not only adds strength and weight to the replica but also gives it that cool-to-the-touch stone feel. Each casting is then hand painted and sealed to further resemble an ancient carved stone artifact. Dimensions: 4in H x 1.75in W x 2.125in D (102mm H x 45mm W x 54mm D) Pazuzu is the main antagonist and demon of The Exorcist horror novels and film series, created by William Peter Blatty. Blatty derived the character from Assyrian and Babylonian mythology, where Pazuzu was considered the king of the demons of the wind, and the son of the god Hanbi. In The Exorcist Pazuzu appears as a demon who possesses Regan MacNeil. This amulet is scene in the original Exorcist and also in Exorcist: The Beginning. Pazuzu is often depicted as a combination of animal and human parts with its right hand pointing upwards and its left hand downwards. It has the body of a man, the head of a lion or dog, eagle-like taloned feet, two pairs of wings, a scorpion's tail, and a serpentine genitalia.
