This kit includes the Conductonaut Extreme Thermal Paste (5g) and the Kapton Insulation Sheet. The Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal thermal compound is the further development of Conductonaut and was developed for applications with maximum power density. As a gallium-based liquid metal, Conductonaut Extreme is a metallic alloy that is liquid at room temperature, allowing for the minimum possible layer thickness. Conductonaut Extreme thermal paste is technically not a thermal paste, as a paste consists of liquid and solid particles. The disadvantage of a paste is the solid particles. The surfaces of the base plate of the CPU cooler and the CPU heat spreader are uneven on a microscopic level. A traditional thermal paste fills these irregularities unevenly. Since the solid particles are larger than the gaps caused by the unevenness, more distance must be filled between the cooler and the heat spreader. Kapton Insulation Sheet is an assembly aid for electrically conductive thermal interface material (TIM). It is ideal for masking components such as SMDs on a CPU or GPU if they are to be used with Conductonaut liquid metal, Carbonaut or KryoSheet. Kapton Insulation Sheet is a polyamide film that can be used at high temperatures up to 280 degrees Celsius and acts as an assembly aid for electrically conductive thermal interface material (TIM). It is ideal for covering components such as SMDs on a CPU or GPU if they are to be used with Conductonaut liquid metal, Carbonaut or KryoSheet. Kapton Insulation Sheet is supplied packaged in 10 sheets of 5 Kapton adhesive strips each. Each individual adhesive strip is 10 mm wide and 60 mm long, with a thickness of 40 µm.
