- Sulfur soap has been used for centuries, dating back to ancient civilizations like the Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, and Persians. These civilizations recognized sulfur's healing properties. Our ancestors knew that sulfur is a keratolytic agent and also antibacterial. Keratoloytic is a therapy/treatment causing the outer layer of the skin to loosen and shed. Sulfur is a basic element (a fundamental substance that cannot be broken down into simpler substances by ordinary chemical processe) and a natural remedy for many skin conditions.
- Sulfur soap is highly effective and clinically proven for the treatment of acne. It clears, dries, and reduces the severity of acne blemishes, acne pimples, acne vulgaris, blackheads or whiteheads and allows skin to heal. Sulfur also helps seborrheic dermatitis, scabies, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, dandruff, folliculitis (invected hair follicles) warts, and pityriasis versicolor, inflammatory facial dermatoses, - just to name a few.
