OTC's 6180 is a 7 Piece set containing 3/8" drive specialty bit sockets with Torx PLUS profiles. The Torx PLUS design features lobes that are more square to allow for higher torque and minimize wear. Torx PLUS was developed in 1990 as a refinement of the basic Torx design and intended to improve strength and performance, especially in automated assembly situations. This convenient set gives anyone a removal or installation solution for Torx PLUS fasteners. Made with two piece construction S2 grade steel - one of the highest quality tool grade steels used in production - these bit sockets are designed for endurance. A natural finish ensures that these sockets won’t crack or peel like many chrome plated versions can. Includes: TP10, TP15, TP20, TP25, TP27, TP30, TP40, TP45, and TP50 sized bit sockets. NOTE: These high quality bit sockets will provide a lifetime of performance when used with hand tools. Not intended for use with impact tools - use with impact tools will void the warranty.
