Harvey wins the 2008 KAVAMA Songwriting Contest with the song \'Technology Blues\'. Don D. Harvey is an entertainer with acoustic guitar, harmonica and vocals. His style has been called everything from Contemporary Folk, Jazz, Acoustic Rock, Reggae, Blues, to Country and Singer/Songwriter. He can wow an audience with his miniature harmonica, wild and lively whistling, or quirky dance. Don is an award winning songwriter who performs as a solo artist, with his band "Earthbound" and with the "Acoustic Conspiracy". Don has produced four CD recordings. "Back to Normal" with Earthbound - 2008 "Don D. Harvey and the Earthbound Band - 2004 "Good As Gone" with the Tennessee Band - 2000 "River Town" a compilation CD - The songs of LaCrosse Area Songwriters Corner - 2007 Earthbound has the Acoustic feel and harmony of Bluegrass, the intlligent songwriting of Contemporary Folk, the honesty of country, the infectious beat of Reggae, the understated quiet sound of acoustic rock, The deep feeling of the blues and the whit of Don D.
