Use to create your own desired vertical hydroponic, aquaponic, or soil growing system. Stack on the ground or use a 3/4" conduit pipe and 1" PVC pipe to raise pots off the ground for easier harvesting. For automatic watering run a water line over top with drip lines going to the top of each tower. Set your water source on a timer. As a general recommendation use 3/4 to 1 gallon per tower per day. How Do Hydroponic Farms Water? They generally water 3 times per day 10am, 2pm, and 6pm at 3-5 minute intervals. Frequency and intervals can be adjusted throughout the growth cycle and dependent on the crop. Our advice is keep is simple and take cues from your plants. What Growing Medium Do Commercial Farms Use When Growing Hydroponically? Most use a 80% Coco / 20% Perlite Mix. Others will use a coco/clay pebble mix or a coco/pine bark mix. All seem to work without too much variants to recommend one vs the other. Go with the most cost effective. Can I Grow In Soil? Yes. Can I do Aquaponics Using These Pots? Yes.
