APEC's high-efficiency RO-PERM permeate pump RO system is specially designed for low pressure areas (30- 50 psi), like in some well water homes, where a standard RO system would not function or would be very slow. This breakthrough performance-upgrade system fills water tanks 2-3 times faster and conserves water up to 80% more than standard systems. No electricity is needed, as the permeate pump is powered by hydraulic energy normally lost to the drain. This system is tested to guarantee the highest impurity removal rates, giving you the purest water possible. This system guarantees to remove up to 99% of all impurities, such as chlorine, taste, odor, harmful fluoride, arsenic, lead, and chromium. All US-Made Super High Capacity Filters: 1st stage: High-Grade 10" high-capacity polypropylene sediment filter -removes dirt, particles, and rust. Protects and extends the life of the membrane and system. 2nd Stage & 3rd Stage: Premium Extruded Carbon Block10" -gets rid of unpleasant chlorine, tastes, odors, cloudiness and colors. Also removes VOCs and other common impurities from the water. 4th Stage: Industry's highest quality FILMTEC (Dow Industries) High Rejection TFC reverse osmosis membrane.
