Here is an inexpensive – and better – alternative! · Standard orange Speidel bung / airlock only PRESSES INTO the opening at the top of the Speidel plastic fermenter or storage tank. · This Grommeted cap SCREWS into the opening and locks in place. No chance of it getting knocked off the fermenter! Free up your OEM Speidel airlock / bung for active, primary fermentations, then use this grommeted cap with a low-evaporative S-Shaped airlock for secondary fermentation or aging! CHARACTERISTICS and SPECIFICATIONS: · 304 Stainless Steel for all metal components · Use at the TOP of the fermenter · Includes our custom-manufactured silicone “V-groove” gasket (SKU# 3064) for superior leak-free attachment. Replaces standard rubber gasket provided by Speidel. · Use existing Speidel lock ring · Works with 3-Piece “barrel” airlock and S-Shaped “double bubble” airlock PLEASE NOTE: Speidel tanks and fermenters come with ONE lock ring (as part of the spigot). To attach this Grommeted Cap you will need an ADDITIONAL lock ring, which is part of Speidel OEM Spigot.
