From the title track “I Got You” that borrows from the hit sounds of the 60’s, to the soulful songs of “Safe,” and “Come Through” an undeniable signature sound was created. Her inspired interpretation of the classic hymn “Tis So Sweet” and the remake of the gospel hit “In My Name” (made famous by Milton Brunson & the Thompson Community Singers) illustrate the sheer vocal beauty, command and control that RUTH LA’ONTRA displays, which is symbolic of a mature & seasoned veteran.
