The Matlocks migrated north to North America when their home and children were lost. They found that they were not alone. Time after time, humans helped them on their journey. And along the way they found friends and allies to show them how to co-exist with the rest of the world. It only took a few dedicated humans and shifters, to make them believe it. And still they were hunted.
