- The previous vector theories of gravity faced two issues: (1)First issue: the potential energy of Newton field is negative;(2)Second issue: those vector theories of gravity did not comply with Special Relativity (SR).Facing the tremendous difficulties in quantizing geometric theory of gravity and in unifying with gauge theories of other three forces, we start with resolving those two issues of vector theories of gravity and then, derived a gauge theory of gravity, denoted as Gravito-EM, quantize it and unify it with other three forces, which provides a clear physical picture of gravity and the mathematic tool is existing. The benefits of Gravito-EM of this book are:(1)Addressed the long-standing issues of negative potential energy, which previous vector gauge theories of gravity had;(2)Gravito-EM complies with Special Relativity, namely Gravito-EM is Lorentz invariant; (3)Natural quantization of Gravito-EM of gravity (QGD): following exactly the same approach of quantizing electrodynamics (QED), we straightforwardly complete the most difficult and significant task of quantizing gravity; (4)Unification: in a common theoretical framework of unifying other three forces, we unify Gravito-EN with other three fundamental forces of nature.(5)Feasible experiments are proposed to test the basic principle, PEP, and wave-particle duality of gravitational wave; (6)Gravito-EM explains the accelerating expansion of the universe and to predict a jerking expansion of the universe. (7)Suggests a mechanism of mass generation of massive gauge bosons, in addition to the symmetry breaking; (8)QGD shows that gravity affects rest mass at quantum level, which was proposed by Einstein in 1912 at classical level by taking into account the effect of gravito-magnetic field.Therefore, we argue that Gravito-EM of this book provides, at least, a “bridge” between the Newton’s theory and an ultimate theory of gravity, namely Gravito-EM is an approximation of the ultimate theory of Gravity.
