Dura-Gold Pro Series 6" Hook & Loop DA Sander Backing Plate Pad with a 6 Hole Pattern. A high-performance well-balanced long-lasting dual-action random orbital sander or polisher backing plate pad with 14mm thick medium density, durable polyurethane foam construction, and a flexible medium profile beveled edge. The pads spindle thread size is 5/16" - 24, which is the universal standard thread size used by almost all brands of dual-action sanders and polishers. A premium-quality backing plate pad that has a 6 hole vacuum pattern, making it ideal for use with a 6" diameter 6 hole pattern hook & loop dustless sandpaper discs. This backing pad also works excellent with a standard no-hole hoop & loop sandpaper, as well as buffing and polishing pads. The backing pad has a 12,000 rpm/opm maximum operation speed that allows quick and effective sanding. Its durable, flexible, and medium-profile tapered edge makes it easier to sand on flat or contoured surfaces at low or high speeds. The plate's strong center core is reinforced with steel struts to keep it well-balanced and stable when in use and you are applying even pressure. The backing pad has a 12,000 rpm/opm maximum operation speed that allows quick and effective sanding. Its durable, flexible, and medium-profile tapered edge makes it easier to sand on flat or contoured surfaces at low or high speeds. The plate's strong center core is reinforced with steel struts to keep it well-balanced and stable when in use and you are applying even pressure.
