It also means the fireproof safe box can be bolted down in the basement, limiting any water risks. Basement placement is popular because it means the fireproof safe won’t fall from higher levels in the event of structural collapse, and the bolt down kit makes it possible to store safe almost anywhere. The newly designed bolt down kit maintains the integrity of the safe’s water protection. The handles are easy to operate, and the safe door audibly confirms when it’s closed. Lithium batteries are included, giving a 5+ year lifespan.
