Rock Trio by Kazu Makino, Simone Pace, Amedeo Pace, Blonde Redhead releases the new album "Sit Down for Dinner" released by Section1 on September 29, 2023. Written and recorded for five years in New York City, Upstate New York, Milan, and Tuscany in New York City, Sit Down for Dinner" is a perfect composition that is full of delicacy, clarity and determination. Throughout the entire album, the subdued yet intuitive melody has foiled the lyrics depicting the inevitable conflictions (struggling whether to be headed for, keeping a dream, etc.) In the spring of 2020, Makino encounters a passage of the shocking experiences when witnessed his husband's sudden death at a dinner table from The Year of Magical Thinking. In the early pandemic anxiety, Makino thought about their parents in Japan far away from Japan, the rituals of sharing dinner with the family lost at the time, and the feeling that all of our people would change their life in an instant. And in this piece, "Life changes fast. Life changes in the instant. You sit down to dinner and life as you know it ends. Life changes in an instant! As we all know, there is a verse that is also part of the album title. At the same time, this album is also for the Pace brothers. Culturally, dinner is an unpassed family ritual, and the trio performed it during rehearsal and tour. "Many people don't have to worry about eating or eating them in front of TV. Sure, I think it is still good. But this time is for us to keep our waist down and spend each other's time." Simone says. Sit Down for Dinner is a meticulous and immersive piece. Since then, "23" (2007), "Penny Sparkle" (2010) and albums have been constantly ranked on charts from various countries to gain high ratings.
