Introducing the Solid Brass Inlay Set by POWERTEC. This Solid Brass Router Inlay Set makes it easy to make perfectly fitting inlay repairs and decorations for your woodworking applications. It features a 1/4" solid carbide downcut spiral bit (for chip-free cutting), a quick-change bushing, template guide and comes complete with easy-to-use instructions. Quick and Simple To get your perfectly fitted inlay, first create a template for your design. Next, install the precision machined bushing with collar and 1/4" diameter cutter in your router and follow the template to cut the design in your work. Lastly, remove the collar from the bushing, and cut the positive inlay using the same template. Compatible Fits Porter-Cable, Black & Decker and any router with a Porter-Cable style bushing adapter. Package Contains (1) Centering pin (1) Guide bushing with lock nut and removable snap-on collar (1) ¼” solid carbide downcut router bitIntroducing the Solid Carbide Router Bit by POWERTEC.This router bit possesses a slow, spiral down cut designed to produce sharp cutting edges and smooth finishes. It’s intended for high RPM and produces much smoother cuts than standard straight router bits. This bit is made out of solid carbide, material well known for it’s prolonged working life due to their hardness factor. These bits are best utilized with hard plastics, wood composites, natural woods and solid surfaces. In addition, the down-cut spiral design leaves a smooth surface when trimming the edge.For many professionals, down cut spirals offer the optimal stability for the thin workpiece.
