DOTS + TODS have been teacher designed as a better alternative to algebra tiles for pupils first learning about positive and negative numbers, directed numbers and algebra. Made from thick and durable plastic. These two color interlocking algebra counters or disks are concrete math manipulatives that help pupils understand how to add, subtract, multiply and divide positive and negative numbers. The unique interlocking design will develop better understanding of the concept of zero pairs than traditional algebra tiles. The yellow or white 'DOTS' counters represent the value of a positive one (+1). They have been designed to fit inside the recessed centre of the red/black 'TODS' disks that represent a value of a negative one (-1) to make a better representation of a zero pair. Choose from two different colored sets of DOTS+TODS available: Red and Yellow or Black and White.
