Additionally, as the cover suggests, you will learn how to code for custom game engine development for lighting, geometry, LiveOps, DevOps, and more - including Open-Source development to customize existing application API's. You will learn how to use C++, C, C#, Python, SQL, MEL, Blueprints, and many other languages for use in every area of Software Engineering, Cyber Security, game development, and data management. The learning is structured in the same manner as my previous book; Design and Development with Unreal Engine 5 & Blender, where the book can be read by beginners and seasoned professionals who wish to learn new skills and apply their knowledge to new areas within their field or a different path. This book is not a guide on using Unreal Engine, Blender, or any other mentioned application, other than their scripting capabilities. To learn these applications in their entirety, you can read my book covering Unreal, Blender, illustration, and more. The topics covered (not in this exact order) are: 1. Creating and using AI for Machine Learning, games, and education. 2. Beginner, intermediate, and advanced scripting in C++, C, C#, Python, Blueprints in Unreal Engine, MEL, and several other languages for applications, web development, gaming, and general software engineering, for all tech pipelines. The differences, similarities, pros, cons, and all uses, including learning to build upon scripts, and structure them for specific tasks. 3. Programming in media, games, general technology, cybersecurity, education, software engineering, robotics, medicine, and more. You can easily follow at your own pace and gain a deeper understanding as the lessons become more advanced. Each chapter will call on previous lessons, as refreshers to keep you engaged, and to make everything easy to follow. Some scripts that were created for my previous book, as a fundamental introduction to programming with Unreal are reintroduced, and greatly expanded on, with new code overall. Written by Michael Grinberg, an author who has worked in games, animation, and illustration for 9 years.
