- Contains 1% Pyrithione Zinc (vs 2%) and is formulated for those with sensitive skin or sensitivity to Pyrithione Zinc (ZPT). Long term maintenance regimes respond well to 1%.
- Pyrithione zinc is an active ingredient approved for over-the-counter (OTC) Dandruff and Seborrheic Dermatitis treatments at 0.95 to 2 percent in the form of apply and then wash-away after brief exposure. This soap controls, fights, reduces, helps eliminate, helps stop, controls recurrence of, fights recurrence of, helps prevent recurrence of, reduces recurrence of, and helps eliminate recurrence of skin and/or scalp itching, irritation, redness, flaking, and scaling. This soap has many uses and may be reccomended by doctors for other uses.

SIZE: 4 oz. - 3 Bars - Individually PackagedThis is the 'lite' version of the DermaHarmony 2% Pyrithione Zinc Therapy (ZNP) Body and Facial Soap which is ideal for seborrheic dermatitis, dandruff, and various other skin conditions. It's the same as the 2% zinc soap, but with less pyrithione zinc (e.g. 1%). There are many conditions that respond well to 1% zinc concentration. You should not assume that 2% is the 'correct' strength. Pyrithione zinc from 0.95% to 2% is approved in the USA to treat seborrheic dermatitis (SD) and Dandruff when formulated to be applied and then washed off after brief exposure. In liquid shampoos, 1% Pyrithione Zinc holds the most market share by a wide margin. More is not always better.This bar should be used by those that are sensitive to Pyrithione Zinc or who have their condition under control and are using pyrithione zinc as long-term prophylaxis (to prevent recurrence). ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: 1% Pyrithione Zinc INACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Saponified Oils (from palm and coconut), Water, Glycerin (from vegetable oil), Titanium Dioxide (a natural mineral), Oatmeal, Olive Oil, Vitamin E, Table Salt, Salt of Pentetic Acid.DIRECTIONS: Use on affected areas in place of your regular soap. For best results use at least twice a week; or as directed by your doctor. You may increase to two or three times daily if needed. Work up a lather using warm water and massage into affected areas. Leave in contact with skin for at least 30 seconds.
