Orders are placed using the Actual String Length – the end-to-end measurement of the string, not the AMO bow length. AMO length refers to the total bow length following the curvature of the limbs. For example, a bow labeled AMO 62” typically requires a 58” actual string length. However, some manufacturers use different AMO deductions, so please confirm before ordering. If your bow does not have a string and you need to measure it, the proper method is to measure from tip to tip following the curvature of the limbs—not in a straight line.
