Installation steps: 1. Tighten the male thread of the propane filter to the propane heater's 1lb connection. 2. Connect the female thread of the filter to 1"-20 male throwaway cylinder thread of the hose. 3. Connect the QCC1 end of the hose to the 5-40 lb propane tank. 4. Completed, make sure that all connections are fully tightened (it is best to test the airtightness with soapy water)
Note: 1.The propane filter cannot be used with a one pound cylinder, there will be insufficient gas pressure in the one pound cylinder to supply gas to the propane heater. It can only be used with hose connected to 5-40lb propane tank; 2.The hose and filter are detachable, the hose lasts a long time, but the filter is a consumable item and will need to be replaced about a year
