It works in complete darkness to detect heat anomalies, current leakage, and overheating that multimeters and visual inspection often miss. Featuring 512×384 X³IR thermal resolution, enhanced by the RazorX Ultra-Clear Algorithm, P3 delivers 4× sharper imaging than standard 256×192 thermal cameras at 25Hz real-time refresh. This allows technicians to clearly visualize PCB traces, IC heat distribution, and micro-level thermal differences during live diagnostics. With ±2°C accuracy across a wide -4°F to 1112°F (-20°C to 600°C) temperature range, the P3 detects both subtle current leakage and dangerous component overheating, even when temperature differences are extremely small. The 8mm macro thermal lens, combined with 15× digital zoom, enables close-up inspection of circuit traces, solder joints, and IC pins without disassembly, while maintaining sharp focus across the entire field of view. Equipped with 15 professional measurement modes, including multi-point, line, area, isotherm analysis, 12 optimized color palettes, and smart temperature alarms, P3 significantly improves diagnostic speed and accuracy compared to basic thermal cameras. Powered by the Thermal Master high-sensitivity sensor (NETD ≤35mK), the camera detects temperature differences as small as 0.035°C, making it ideal for identifying low-current leakage (as low as 1mA) in electronic components. With a low-power 0.32W design, the P3 achieves up to 367 minutes of continuous runtime when connected to compatible smartphones, supporting full-shift professional workloads. Built for demanding environments, the P3 operates reliably from -4°F to 131°F (-20°C to 55°C). It includes a 50cm extension cable and a 2mm extended USB-C plug, ensuring compatibility with most phone cases and work setups.
