Wolf Tooth CTRL Trail Clipless Pedals are designed for unparalleled control and support for all-mountain riding with flawless clip-in/out performance. No other SPD-compatible trail pedal has a large platform (941 mm^2) that contacts the shoe and locks in the shoe like this. CTRL Trail Clipless Pedals are simultaneously lighter (326 g) and thinner (15 mm) than all other trail pedals with an exceptionally low stack height. The thin profile means better cornering clearance, while the open center between the binding cages increases mud shedding ability. The CTRL Trail Clipless Pedals have adjustable Q factor in 4 mm increments. Inside the pedal is a stainless steel axle, three bearings, and two spacers. Spacers and bearings can be rearranged for Q factors of 51, 55, or 59 mm. This is simple enough for anyone to do at home. Like most Wolf Tooth components and accessories, replacement parts and service guides are available via Wolf Tooth Right to Repair. - Thinner than the competition at 15mm (compared to the Shimano XTR 9220 at 18.2mm and the Hope TC at 18.2mm) - Lighter than the compeition at 328g (compared to Shimano XTR 9220 at 439g and Hope Trail at 438g) - Bigger platform area than the competition at 914mm^2 (compared to Shimano XTR 9220 at 883mm^2 and Hope Trail at 645mm^2) - Adjustable Q factor range of 51, 55, and 59mm (additional 53 and 57mm options available as 2mm spacers sold separately with spacer kit) - Proven axle and bearing design from Waveform Aluminum Pedals - Designed, tested, and machined at Wolf Tooth in Minnesota, USA. Compatible - Compatible with SPD cleats; Wolf Tooth cleats included. - Fits all standard cranks with 9/16-20 tipi right- and left-hand threads - some kid's bikes and vintage bikes may have smaller incompatible threads.
