- Engraved or UV Printed on Lonestar Adhesive's Premium Rawhide Leatherette with Durabull Adhesive. Stock your hat bar with all of our premade patches. These patches are engraved to create a clean, detailed image on the leatherette, then precisely laser cut around the design. They are perfect for hats, backpacks, and more. Hat not included. Patches are sized for standard hat applications, approximately 2"" to 2.5"" tall or wide. If you need a specific size, please message us before purchasing. Leatherette is a vegan leather material with heat activated adhesive already applied to the back. APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Preheat hat in a hat press for 30 seconds at 325°F with a thin silicone sheet between the hat and platen. While the hat is heating, warm the back of the patch with a heat gun on low for 15 to 30 seconds until the adhesive changes appearance and the patch may slightly curl. The adhesive will look more reflective and feel tacky. Note: Use a heat gun, not a blow dryer. This step makes the patch more pliable and ready to attach. After 30 seconds, remove the press and silicone sheet. Carefully place the patch in the desired location on the hat. The hat will be hot. Press again for 30 seconds using light to medium pressure with a silicone pad placed over the patch. Check the edges to ensure full adhesion. If edges are not fully adhered, repress until secure.
