The iUniker PoE+ M.2 NVMe Expansion Board is designed for Raspberry Pi 5 users who want a cleaner, faster, and more reliable setup. It combines Power over Ethernet and M.2 NVMe storage expansion on one compact board, helping you reduce cable clutter while upgrading from microSD storage to a more dependable NVMe SSD. With a compatible PoE+ / 802.3at switch or injector, your Raspberry Pi 5 can receive both power and network connection through a single Ethernet cable. The PoE function provides 5V 4.5A output, giving your Raspberry Pi 5 a stable power path for typical always-on projects such as Home Assistant, Pi clusters, network cabinets, IoT systems, dashboards, and lightweight servers. The onboard M.2 M-Key slot supports 2230, 2242, 2260, and 2280 NVMe SSDs, giving you flexibility to choose the drive size that fits your project. For compact cases or rack-mounted setups, shorter SSDs may provide better clearance. This board supports NVMe SSDs only and does not support M.2 SATA SSDs, M.2 AHCI SSDs, or other non-NVMe M.2 drives. Please note that this listing includes only the expansion board and screw kit. Raspberry Pi 5, NVMe SSD, heatsinks, fan, case, PoE switch, Ethernet cable, and power supply are not included. Important: Do not connect PoE power and USB-C power at the same time. When using PoE, disconnect the USB-C power supply from your Raspberry Pi 5.
