The Celestron PentaView LCD Digital Microscope is a powerful, full-featured biological microscope designed for classrooms, labs, and hobbyists. With a 4.3" full-color LCD screen mounted on a 180° rotating head, multiple users can view specimens simultaneously—perfect for group learning or collaborative environments. The screen eliminates the need for eyepieces and reduces eye and neck strain during extended use. The microscope includes a 5MP digital camera sensor that captures sharp still images and 20 fps video. Capture and save your observations directly to the included SD card or connect the microscope to a monitor using the TV output for large-scale viewing. Image resolution up to 3648x2048 pixels ensures excellent clarity, even on bigger screens. The rotating turret includes 4x, 10x, 20x, 40x, and a detachable 60x lens. Combined with the 10x eyepiece and 4x digital zoom, the PentaView offers total magnification up to 2400x. This makes the PentaView ideal for examining slides containing cells, tissue, protozoa, and more. The fully adjustable mechanical stage allows precise slide positioning, while coarse and fine focus knobs ensure crisp imaging. Just below the stage, there is a built-in 6-position filter wheel that includes color and aperture filters to enhance contrast and control lighting for clearer specimen viewing. An adjustable bottom LED illuminator beneath the mechanical stage provides bright, even lighting—ideal for viewing translucent specimens on prepared slides. Power the microscope using the included international AC adapter or go cordless with 4 AA batteries (not included), offering flexibility for use indoors or in the field. The microscope comes with 7 prepared slides, two cables, a touch pen, a dust cover, and a rugged canvas carrying case—everything you need to start exploring the microscopic world.
