DMSO Store Dimethyl Sulfoxide is Purified to be very Low odor by using a special cold process that helps remove any excess Dimethyl Sulfide which is the compound making it smell similiar to garlic. Inferior grades of DMSO will have an offensive odor and usually indicates its industrial grade and not pure, however there will still be a small amount of DMS in all DMSO.
DMSO Store 99.995% Dimethyl Sulfoxide is made using the best technology available to manufacture the highest grade of DMSO. All of our batches are lab tested to verify its purity and ensure no heavy metals or other contaminants are present.
The plastic closure for this DMSO Glass Bottle is made from certified BPA free resin. This ensures that if the bottle is tilted on its side, there is no BPA from it dissolving into the DMSO. The cap also has a special polycone liner that keeps it sealed against the bottle to secure the DMSO from leaking out or any air getting in the product.
The Glass Bottle used to store our DMSO is manufactured under strict practices to safeguard agaisnt impurities in the glass which could leach out into the Dimethyl Sulfoxide. Our bottles are kept under sterile conditions at all times during storage and when filling with DMSO guranteeing a sterile product.
DMSO is considered a highly polar aprotic solvent that has many uses.
DMSO freezes around 64 degrees Farenheit, and therefore may arrive as a solid that looks like shattered glass insdie the bottle. To bring back your DMSO to a liquid simply place the bottle in warm water only for several hours to thaw out. Do not use boiling water or put in a microwave. This is an easy way to prove that the DMSO is pure because if there is water present it will freeze at a much lower temperature depending on how much water is present.

DMSO by itself is actually odorless, what makes Dimethyl Sulfoxide smell and taste like onions or garlic is DMS (Dimethyl Sulfide). Industrial grades of DMSO will contain DMS and therefore give off an offensive odor. Pure Pharma Grade Dimethyl Sulfoxide is distilled and purified to remove DMS and any other contaminants leaving it odorless. The Toxicological aspects of DMSO have been studied extensively over a long period of time and it has been concluded to be a very low toxicity hazard.
