KNEE BRACE FOR DOGS. The Ortocanis knee brace par excellence. It compensates for loss of joint function and reduces pain in dogs with osteoarthritis, cruciate ligament injury or patellar luxation. The protector reduces pain and inflammation by improving the balance between the muscle groups. The improved flexibility in tight muscles allows the dog to regain natural movement of the limb. The slight pressure exerted by this brace takes off the weight on the joint, increasing its stability and preventing the condition from worsening. In cases of cruciate ligament damage, the knee brace can be used by the dog prior to surgery to reduce pain and prevent loss of muscle mass. After the operation, the knee brace can be used again after 5 days, once the inflammation has subsided. Benefits: - It reduces pain: The increase in the working temperature of the knee has an anti-inflammatory effect that reduces discomfort in case of osteoarthritis and ligament injuries. - It accelerates rehabilitation: Increased metabolism accelerates recovery and the production of elastin which helps to make ligaments more flexible. - It prevents atrophy: It stimulates muscle activity in the joint, thus reducing muscle atrophy.
