The new Amy Brown Collection of rounds is set to feature six different fairy designs in total, all from Brown. Her career began in the 1990s with one painting. Asked to fill an empty frame while working in a small art gallery, the piece was an immediate hit and sold quickly from the gallery’s wall. Today, Amy Brown is widely recognized as one of the top ten fantasy artists in the world. In total, her designs of the Red Queen, Lady of the Forest, Second Cousins, Discovery, Wall Flower, and Dragon Secrets will appear in the collection. Each 1 oz Proof Amy Brown Collection lady of the forest Round has a beautiful proof finish that lends frosted elements and deeply-mirrored fields to the design. Rounds in this series are also available in antique and proof colorized versions. The reverse of all Amy Brown Collection Silver Rounds features the design of Dusk. One of her most popular fairy designs, Dusk was created in 2003 and featured in the book The Art of Amy Brown II. Dusk has large, graceful wings similar to those of a bird and peers out over the landscape from a high vantage point.
