DESCRIPTION - MarvellHealth Honey Calcium Alginate Dressing is an absorbent primary wound dressing made of Manuka Honey coated onto a calcium alginate dressing. MarvellHealth Honey Calcium Alginate Dressing contains 48% Manuka Honey. As wound exudate is absorbed, the alginate forms a gel, which assists in maintaining a moist environment for optimal wound healing.
MANUKA HONEY - New Zealand Manuka Honey can enhance wound healing, promotes autolytic debridement, amplify the regeneration of tissue and even decrease pain in patients suffering from burns.
LOW PH LEVEL - Manuka Honey has a pH of ~3.9 (acidic), Low pH level improve tissue oxygenation which increases resistance to infection and promotes healing.
