[Trolling Motor, Solar RV, Home Backup] When using the battery with a trolling motor, we highly recommend installing a 60A–100A circuit breaker between the battery and your device to prevent overdischarging. 60A circuit breaker sold separately in the Dr.Prepare Store. These LiFePO4 batteries are also perfect for RV solar setups, off-grid camping, and home backup power during outages or hurricane season.
[Charging & Discharging Tips] The optimal charging current is 20A (max 50A). For safe and efficient charging, use a compatible AC-to-DC LiFePO4 battery charger or a solar panel system with a charge controller. Do not use other brand general-purpose chargers to avoid potential damage. Each battery must be fully charged separately before in series. After a full discharge at 100A, avoid immediate recharging at 50A, as it may trigger the high-temperature charging protection.
[Important Reminders] 1. It's an energy storage battery, not a car battery, starting battery or golf cart battery. 2. Ensure the battery terminals are securely fastened. Loose terminals can lead to heat accumulation and potential battery damage. 3. Optimal charging involves a 20A current for our lithium battery.
