If you need to protect your cargo and straps from wear and tear, US Cargo Control's 8" x 8" x 36" Flatbed Corner Protectors is an economical yet effective tool to use for your cargo securement needs. Also known as tarp corner protectors, corner guards, and trailer corner protectors, our edge protectors have the added benefit of protecting your straps, chains, and trailer tarps. By adding it as a layer between the edge of the cargo and the tie down, cargo corner protectors distribute the pressure of the tie down (as well as extending the life of the tiedown and tarp from sharp corners). This ensures the pressure of securing the load is not concentrated in one section. Our red strap protectors have raised edges to keep the straps in place, and is 8 inches long and 36 inches wide to give your straps more protection. You can also add more than one strap on the wide corner protector to safely secure cargo. This is commonly used with ratchet straps and winch straps (use 2", 3", and 4" straps).
