- The Shure Broadcast Desk Series SH-BROADCAST2 is a premium, low-profile desk-mounted microphone boom arm designed to stay below the shoulder line. It offers extreme versatility to broadcasters, podcasters, and streamers seeking a discreet desktop miking solution with an unobstructed view. The boom arm includes two mounting options: a desk clamp that can mount on surfaces up to 2.17 inches (55mm) thick, or a direct mount that can be drilled into your desktop for a more permanent mounting solution. Constructed from heavy-duty steel, the boom arm offers a full 360-degree horizontal adjustment and a 90-degree upper vertical adjustment. Fully extended, the SH-BROADCAST2 spans up to 33 inches (838mm) to cover the largest desktop setups. The heavy-duty design supports a weight capacity of up to 4.4 lbs. (2kg), and the convenient top-mounted magnetic cable channels provide clean cable management, keeping your desktop clutter-free. The threaded extension provides additional clearance, making it an excellent match for your preferred Shure SM7 or MV7 Series microphones.
