Chain Reaction was formed in the end of 2002 as a band of friends playing together for fun. Two years later, at the moment when the band's style was maturing, it was joined by Barton who took over the lead singer's position. In 2006 CR's new tracks were recorded as the ''id'' Promo and met with great reception. The band kept on working hard and in the end of 2007 recorded their first LP album entilted ''Vicious Circle''. They spent the next year playing loads of gigs and, finally, signed their first record deal with a new Italian label, Kolony Records. ''Vicious Circle'' was out in stores around Europe in March, 2009 and gained great reviews, both in press and on the internet. This only strengthened the band's belief that what they have created was good and gave them a good vibe, needed at that time, as they were finishing the writing of their second album.
