The USB-1608G from Measurement Computing is a high speed USB data acquisition device that features (16) analog inputs, (8) digital I/O connections, (2) 32-bit counter inputs and 1 external trigger. The analog inputs are software configurable for either (16) single-ended inputs, or (8) differential inputs with a input range of +/- 10 Volts, +/- 5 Volts and +/- 1 Volt per input channel with an aggregated measurement rate up to 250 kS/s across all channels. An on-board industry standard 82C55 programmable peripheral interface chip provides the 8 digital I/O lines. You can configure each digital port independently for either input or output. The USB-1608G is powered by the USB port on your computer. No external power is required. Each USB-1608G purchased includes the MCC DAQ Software Suite (TracerDAQ, InstaCal,Drivers for DASYLab and Universal Library for LabView and Android) and USB Cable. Features Trigger Input: USB-1608G Series devices have an external digital trigger input. The trigger mode is software-selectable for edge-or level-sensitive mode. You can configure edge-sensitive mode for either rising or falling edge. In level-sensitive mode, you can configure for either high or low level. The default setting at power up is edge-sensitive, rising edge.Retrigger Mode: You can set up repetitive analog input trigger events. The trigger is automatically re-armed after it is activated. The software sets the A/D trigger count (the number of samples you want per trigger).Counter Input: Device includes two 32-bit event counters for counting TTL pulses, up to 20 MHz.Timer Output: USB-1608G Series devices have a PWM timer output that can generate a pulse output with a programmable frequency in the range of 0.0149 Hz to 32 MHz. The timer output parameters are software-selectable.External Clock I/O: USB-1608G Series devices provide one external clock input and one external clock output for the analog inputs.
