At Ammo Can Man, we print the pack date on every meal after performing an inspection of the time temperature indicator (TTI) of each case prior to opening. We then verify each meal pouch is puncture-free, fresh, and ready for consumption or long term storage. Each meal is rated by the manufacturer to have a 5.5 year shelf life from the pack date when stored below 71 degrees F. Come see why civilian MREs don't compare to the genuine Warfighter Ration. Only Military MREs come with an average 1250 calories, compared to about 900 per civilian Meal. Accessory packs, not usually offered in civilian MREs, come with a variety of essential survival and comfort products like matches, gum, toilet paper, hot sauce, beverage base, or coffee.
