Solid State Semi-Automatic Burner Control Module without Programmer (230V)Fireye D40-41 Series Burner Management Controls provide ignition and flame failure protection for manually started oil or gas burners. Plug-in amplifier modules allow selection of ultraviolet flame sensing, repetitive ultra-violet self-test, automatic control infrared or rectification methods. The control system includes a safe start check, effective at every start. If a flame signal (real or simulated) is detected the unit cannot be started. For added safety and reliability, the Fireye 72D1R3 self-check infrared amplifier (using the pulsing flame signal) and 72DUVS ultraviolet amplifier (using a scanner shutter) verify the function of the flame sensing system for component failure during each burner firing cycle. Meter test connectors on each amplifier module provide flame signal reading with a DC voltmeter. Flame failure response time is four seconds (max). When amplifier modules with suffix T are used, flame failure response time is reduced to one second (max). The control provides three SPDT load switches and one SPNO for external loads and start circuits. Fireye D40-41 Burner Management controls can be adapted into a simple control system or as a building block with auxiliary devices to provide additional functions.
