This Seachoice Battery Select Switch allows a boater to control whether power can be drawn from a battery, helping to prevent inadvertent battery draining when a boat is not in use. This two-position switch offers the choices of On and Off so it is certain whether power can be drawn from the battery. There is a positive click-stop on both positions for the most dependable operation. This switch does not have a lock. It is designed for use with 6-, 12-, 24-, and 36-volt systems, and is rated for 230 amps continuous, 345 amps momentary (5 minutes). It conforms to U.S. Coast Guard standards for ignition protection. This switch features a 60% larger sweep contact area for improved performance and longer switch life. It has a durable, marine-grade polycarbonate case, and can be surface- or rear-mounted. Its mounting holes match most other switches’ mounting hole patterns. This switch has a 5 ½-In. diameter and is 2 5/8-In. high. Its cable lug size is 3/8-In.
